Launchburys has been established in Boston since the 1930's and has always been run as a local family business in the town (local ⁄ independant). We are 2 shops into 1. Selling both Motorcycles and Cycles and we offer a whole range of advice on both aspects of our business. Shane took over the running of the business in 1994. He has been a motorcycle mechanic over 35 years since leaving school. Having completed numerous Honda courses and exams he started out working for a local honda dealer for over 20 years. We are open 6 days a week, early until late to make it easier for our customers to call in before work or after work. Shane's son Craig is also a mechanic in the workshop. He is also into Beach Racing of which he competes every year locally at Mablethorpe using his own Motorcross Bike. So both Shane and Craig are always in or out of work involved in motorcycles. So our knowledge and advice expertise is not only Road but Off-Road Motorbikes too! We have one of the largest selections of motorcycle helmets ⁄ gloves locally. We do a starter pack for anyone having their first scooter ⁄ motorcycle. i.e. Helmet, Gloves, Jacket, Boots all with correct size fittings. We offer a cycle measurement support, to ensure your cycle is the correct size and type for your needs. Also a helmet size check is supplied. We do wheel bulding for cycles ⁄ motorcycles, reboring, full engine strips/rebuilds on all makes and models of motorcycles. We also offer same day repairs and collections or delivery service. Mail order is possible and credit cards are accepted. We also do preowned scooters‚ motorcycles‚ cycles as well as brand new.
